⭐️ It’s almost over! Your local representatives have been reaching out to everyone in Inwood trying to convince everyone to vote by June 27th.
👉 Q:
Why are there so many people on the street corners trying to hand you a flier to remind you to vote?
👉 A:
Because Inwood has the LOWEST voter turnout in the city. It’s embarrassing, but it’s true.
WHO CARES?
Our local public schools suffer b/c of low voter turnout. Your neighbor's choice to sit out a local election directly impacts the quality of education our children receive.
❗️ IS THAT ALL?
Nope. Our neighborhood receives less tax dollars for ALL of our needs. Any resource the city provides is allocated LESS to Inwood.
❓ WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?
I understand that we think of drama and corruption when we think of voting. Please do not confuse dirty POLITICS with COMMUNITY action. Do not be distracted or discouraged to vote in the upcoming LOCAL election. The higher the number of registered voters who VOTE in this upcoming election in Inwood the MORE resources our neighborhood will receive.
